Not knowing what you’re capable of is a big war one needs to not only fight, but conquer, unfortunately, Chelsea FC has a player who is currently battling this plague, in Nicolas Jackson.
Jackson came into the Chelsea setup following strings of sparkling form in Villarreal CF, he was terrorizing LaLiga Santander with his mesmerizing and dazzling form.
Versatility is a good asset if managed well, but Jackson couldn’t leverage on it, he could play out wide or from either flanks, only few players of his age could boast of this unique ability.
Coming into a relatively young squad, you’re expected to settle in well, as talented as the teammates were, one would expect the striker to bang in goals week-in-week-out, but the reverse is the case for Chelsea FC, Nicolas Jackson, tagged hugely talented but goal-shy, hasn’t find it easy scoring, he started with flashes of excellence, but is yet to attain that prospects.
Under performing yet over paid, he has been under intense criticism after some underwhelming display, giving fans reasons to doubt his ability. Though, he started well scored 7 goals, midway into the season, but hasn’t been in his near-best form since returning from AFCON.
